Torrid Teasers Volume 2: Snowbound & Valentine's Day
Snowbound by Ann Cory
As Emily stagers blindly through the snow she begins to wonder what on Earth she’s doing in the middle of a snowstorm, when she should be wrapped up warm back home finishing her newest romance novel. Unbeknownst to her the direction in which she is stumbling will provide more stimulation then she ever thought possible.
In Snowbound the author throws the reader straight into the action, and although at first things aren’t too clear as to why certain things are happening, the story has a fast pace and very soon you see the bigger picture. The two characters she has created work well as a contrast to one another, and keeps the pace of the story moving.
Valentine's Day by Jane Leopold Quinn
Valentine’s always loved Rafe, but he’s just been her big brother’s best friend – and as such out of bounds that is until the day of her brother’s wedding. But does she know what she’s letting herself in for, and is this more then just one night of passion?
As the reader you are instantly thrown into a very passionate love scene right from the start, one that has been written with a lot of care and attention, bringing you close to the people involved. This is another fast paced story, which will have you eagerly turning the page to find out what happens next.
These two authors have been brought together in this book, demonstrating their different perspectives with regards to romance in a delightfully sensual and stimulating book. It’s a nice contrast to go from the cold snow of the first story to the hot romantic Valentine's Day in the second. The stories balance one another and fit together very well. I found myself wanting more at the end of both the stories and eagerly anticipate reading more of these authors’ works.
