Danger’s Kiss

Desiree of Canterbury is a trained thief who can get out of any mess, until she meets the man everyone fears, lawman Nicholas Grimshaw. He is the man she blames for her guardian’s execution, and she decides she will do what she must to get vengeance. What she doesn’t expect is the passion that develops between them when she becomes a permanent fixture in his household. Soon things become dangerous, and Desiree needs to come to turns with the fact that she needs the lawman.

Danger’s Kiss by Sarah McKerrigan is a wonderfully written love story set in medieval times. Desiree is a thief, and she has no plans to change that, yet she is a character you instantly like. She is strong yet vulnerable, and it makes her seem like more of a real person. Nicholas is the most disliked man around, and it leaves him with a sadness that makes you want to give him a hug. He is the perfect hero in the sense that he is a bad boy, but at the same time he’s really not the boogeyman everyone thinks him to be. He’s sexy and makes me wish we lived in medieval times, so I could find a Nicholas of my own. Danger’s Kiss is a great book full of romance, mystery, and characters you can’t help but fall in love with.
