Sea Breeze is a short story that is part of the Del Fantasma Series. Del Fantasma is a bar in Vista Loma, California. The owner of the bar is Cody, and in Sea Breeze he tells Cassandra, a surfer and newcomer to the bar, the story of a sea siren named Serai. Serai has to come on land and find a mate, and if she doesn’t, it will mean her death.

Jade Rivers has written a charming, romantic tale that is different, but in a good way. At first we meet Cassandra, and she is a character you immediately feel comfortable with, like an old friend. Once we start hearing the story of Serai, the story changes into an almost fairy tale like story. Serai has to find a mate, and when she first comes onto land she is unsteady and unsure of the world around her. As soon as she sees Arryc she knows he is the one. Arryc is a sweet man who feels the song of the sirens. He goes to Serai as soon as he notices her, and together they give in to the call of the music. Jade Rivers has a done a wonderful job with Sea Breeze, and it is a sweet love story for any romance lover.
