Serenity Woodson is a science teacher who doesn’t believe in anything paranormal, like her Aunt Tildy’s claim of once loving an alien prince. Still, she doesn’t ignore her feeling telling her that her aunt needs her help. Aunt Tildy has lost her most loved necklace, the one her prince gave to her more than forty years ago. When Serenity learns that Aunt Tildy has a new male friend helping her out, she is instantly suspicious. She in no way believes that this friend is also an alien prince from another galaxy. She thinks he’s a con man, and she is going to do what she can to learn the truth.

Prince Carch Sunstryker is an alien prince from another galaxy, but he doesn’t want Serenity to find out. He is on a mission to bring back the necklace that was given to Tildy, without it, his family could all die. While searching for the necklace, Carch learns he’s not the only one who wants it.

The Rebel Prince by Nina Bruhns was a great story about an alien playboy finding love with an earthling. Carch is sexy, in any of his forms. He knows how to please Seri, and he does what he can to make her happy. Once readers learn about his really special abilities, they will definitely want him for themselves! Seri is also a very likable character. She doesn’t fall to pieces when she sees exactly what Carch is, though it would probably be easier for her to fall apart. She stands firm in her abilities to help out, and she is an admirable person. Nina Bruhns has written an exciting sci-fi romance, and it’s a must read, especially with a character like Carch.
