Natasha Morrison was a small-time smuggler who had the misfortune to run afoul of the law. She inadvertently smuggled a dangerous criminal off-world, which is an infraction punishable by death. Maximillian was an android, whose job was capturing lawbreakers and delivering the death sentence. Their paths crossed when Max needed Natasha to track down the missing criminal. While they search, the two enjoy a rather intimate association. What happens after they catch the villain is anyone’s guess...

This is a very interesting short science fiction novel, which combines a primary erotic plotline with a secondary adventure plotline. I liked the punchiness and grittiness of the writer’s style. However, it did seem to me that each chapter was in the nature of a vignette, with distracting leaps in time between chapters. Max is a sexy hero, and Natasha definitely agrees! Thus, the erotica is the main focus of the story, and was very well done. The sex scenes are quite explicit; they are a bit more than vanilla, and cover quite a few pages. Readers looking for erotic adventure will enjoy this book; the story, however, stripped of its erotic trappings, is really a love story masquerading as a chase and capture adventure story.
