Agent Provocateur: Secrets
Agent Provocateur: Secrets is an anthology of stories by several authors. Visually, the book is classy: a plain pink cover with simple script. On the inside, pictures of a woman in several positions are rendered. The stories inside range from a lesbian encounter to a ménage a trois. “Studied” tells the story of a young woman who moves to Tuscany to pose for an artist. Once there, she is attracted to both the artist and his son. Though the story is not surprising, the writing is highly sensual. Of all the stories, “A Taste of Honey” was my favorite. Emma falls for a married man and the two can obviously not be together. While the story is not overtly erotic, it is haunting and filled with passion. Each story focuses on an act that would result in a surprising confession.
Agent Provocateur: Secrets is a good book. The stories are not overly shocking and the writing is not too ‘in your face’. This is the perfect book for those just becoming interested in erotica. The stories are well written and concise, however, I do wish they could have been longer. The book offers a variety of sexual acts, ranging from voyeurism to dominant/submissive roles. Every reader is sure to find a story in it that appeals to their fantasy. I especially loved the presentation of the book; it is classy enough to keep out in plain view without embarrassment. The built-in bookmark is extremely useful plus the artwork inside is beautiful to look at.
