A Purrfect Love

Molly is on a mission. The black Persian cat wants to find her owner’s true love. First she needs some tricks to create just the right momentum. Perhaps a little walk out on the ledge will get her owner’s attention. Marisa Hamilton rescued Molly from an animal shelter four years ago and fell in love with the black fur ball. She only wishes Molly would give her some corporation. Going out on the ledge, to retrieve Molly, wasn’t something she planned, especially in her office Halloween costume. She could already hear the rumors flying once she started losing her footing. Too bad she hadn’t bothered to meet the new tenants next door as she grew closer to their window. Ben Singer heard a deafening scream when he entered his living room and found a black cat. Looking toward the window, he spies Marisa hanging off the ledge and pulls her inside. One look at her in the skimpy Halloween costume makes him practically melt. Can the spirits of Halloween bring these two neighbors together with the help of a sneaky black cat?

I liked this story. Molly is an adorable cat with a keen eye and romance in her heart for her owner. A Purrfect Love almost has Molly being human in many ways. Adorable and sweet, this is a lovely budding romance. Patti Fischer spins a delightful tale for any time of the year. The tone with Molly, and the ledge, is so visual it was like it all came to life right before my eyes. I could practically see the playfulness of Molly on the ledge, as well as Marisa’s expressions. I enjoyed how the story ended because it leaves the reader feeling that perhaps some good things are in store for Ben and Marisa. Be enchanted any day of the week with this charming tale.
