Wild Child of Rock

Chase Winthrop’s father was a rock star in the seventies, but her desire was to model and perhaps work in some movies. Now, in England with her top producer and boss, Kate, not to mention her role model and secret crush, Chase is about to embark on a movie, hopefully in an English castle. Being cast by Kate was a dream come true. Laurence Sanford wonders how Chase fell into working with Kate, who appears to come off standoffish. Just admiring Chase during their visit to discuss the movie, she is one sweet demure lady that ignites flames in him. Thoughts of simple seduction and taking her to his bed pop into his head. Chase loves the castle where they will be filming, and she thinks Laurence is deliciously yummy. Chase will do anything to make Kate proud of her and her work. Even though Kate is her total hero, and she will do anything she asked, she wants to be more than Kate’s pet. The moment she is alone with Laurence, she is surprised to learn he has some of her father’s albums. As they begin to discuss the music, it leads to a little afternoon of heated delight. When Kate hears Chase has been alone with Laurence, can perhaps a three-way settle the problem?

Wild Child of Rock is loaded with heated sensual delights. Chase and Kate enjoy some eye-opening passion when they are alone together. Even though their love is obvious from the start, the reader can get a feel of how important Chase wishes to be her own person and really be a serious player with her acting roles. I enjoyed the thoughts of Laurence as he studies Chase then Kate. He emits a quiet sex appeal that almost reaches out to the reader. Carol Storm pens a sexual fantasy read that simmers. I like the way her love scenes are written to not be degrading, but are warm and stimulating. I think she weaves a contemporary romance that many will enjoy reading. It is a story that is hard to put down. She does a good job in allowing Chase to decide her own role in life and develops her characters where the reader gets to visualize them very well.
