Ensnared by Innocence

Lady Francine needs the help of Lord Blakely. She knows that he has a reputation that will help her to avoid getting married, which is what her aunt has been pushing her to do, and she does not want to do what her aunt wants. Lord Blakely doesn’t want to give into his temptation to his attraction to Lady Francine. However, he finally concedes, and they are betrothed. What Lady Francine has no idea of is the private side of himself that he hides from her and all others. Will this secret join them together or rip them apart?

This book caught my attention at the very beginning because of the mystery of Lord Blakely. There was something about the man that screamed I’ve got secrets and I don’t want to share them with you. Even with this Lady Francine knew what she wanted, and she wanted this man so she put everything she had into getting him. Once she got him they set the pages on an inferno with the fire that burned between them, and it got hotter as the book wore on. There is still a big secret. It may very well tear them apart or it may bind them together as nothing else can. You’ll have to read the book to find out what happens, but I can promise that you’ll not regret picking up this book. This was the first Larissa Lyon’s book that I’ve read but it will not be the last.
