Restless

Jamie Stratham has always had itchy feet. Never staying in one place for long, he’s roamed the world searching for that illusive something; he just doesn’t know what it is yet. Then Jamie meets Rachel Davis, and everything changes.
Rachel doesn’t want anything more than a hot affair before heading back to small town life, and even though warning bells are going off in her head, she thinks Jamie is the perfect candidate. He never stays anywhere for very long, after all,
but what happens when this wondering playboy wants to change the rules? Can Rachel trust him enough to open her heart?

We met Jamie and Rachel in Ms. Austin’s novel Enough. Even then they were sparking off each other, and in Restless Ms. Austin turns those sparks into fire and setting the book in Vegas, the city of sin, only adds to its appeal. This pair is so hot I was sure my hard drive would have a melt down. Lucky for me it didn’t, and I got to watch this pair go from wanting hot sex with no strings to wanting strings just as much as the sex. I don’t normally read a story where the heroine shares my name, not sure why but it always seems to creep me out, but there were no worries with this book. Yet again Ms. Austin’s skill and talent drive the story with ease, and I’ve yet to hit a sex scene that feels awkward. Restless is well written and thoroughly engaging, from the initial sparring matches Jamie and Rachel have, to the very end Ms. Austin’s obvious love of story telling shines through. You can feel the excitement with every word, and if the naked butt on the front’s not enough to get you inside then I’ll add to the appeal. This book is a hot quick read, perfect for a little bedtime reading. Once more, Ms. Austin delivers, and if she’s not on you favorite author list, she should be.
