Hannah Anderson finds herself drawn to the new antique necklace her family jewelry store has acquired, the Virgin’s Blood Jewels. Something about the delicately set raw garnet stones touches her deep inside and she wants to possess it but it is worth way too much money for that to ever happen. Then gorgeous Colin McNamara comes in the store and tells Hannah and her sister Celeste the history of the necklace; it seems it was made for a man’s virgin bride and has a spell cast on it to lower the wearer’s inhibitions but only with the man they are meant to be with. Now Hannah wants that necklace more than ever, she’d love to wear it and seduce Colin. Colin isn’t immune to Hannah either but if they get together under the influence of the necklace what will happen when they don’t have the necklace anymore? And can a necklace really influence a person’s actions?

Virgin Jewels – Garnet by Karen Erickson is a really cute, fun, paranormal, erotic romance. The premise of this story is great; that a necklace might have a spell on it that helps a shy person overcome their sexual inhibitions but only with the right person. Hmmm I could have used this when I was single and looking, it sure would have saved a lot of heartache and time! Of course then Ms. Erickson had to throw in that it only works for the next legitimate owner and a virgin, not just anyone. I loved Hannah’s character when she was “utilizing” the necklace; Hannah’s inner vixen was really good or was that bad? I also enjoyed that Ms. Erickson made Colin’s character not just a playboy or a man on the prowl but a man who knew this was the woman for him. And the necklace isn’t passive; it has something “extra” to add to their experience but you will just have to read this story yourself to find out what it was! If you are looking for an entertaining erotic romance with a dash of fun mixed in with hot sex, then you will enjoy this story.
