Parker West is going to get the woman of his dreams, Celia Evans. After years of courting her, he is no closer than he was at the beginning to achieving his goal. Running out of options, he does what only a desperate man would consider – kidnapping. It could be the worst mistake he makes or it could be the spark that ignites Celia’s heart.

Parker is definitely an alpha male to the core. He comes across as quite tough but there is an underlying softness to him, especially when it concerns the woman he loves. Celia is a spitfire. She has given Parker a run for his money but ultimately she does love him. This is a fun couple to watch. They enjoy being with each other and their relationship is scorching hot. Their chemistry is powerful and highly erotic. Ms. Wildes does a great job of developing their characters as well as their story. The path to happiness is not smooth and the reader will enjoy their journey.

Riding West is an enjoyable historical romp set in the Old West. It features two strong protagonists who will win the hearts of the readers. Of course, there was a villain and he was truly a not so nice person. The author introduces Celia’s brothers and hopefully, there will be future books featuring them. Ms. Wildes pulls together all the elements of the story and gives the reader an extremely satisfying read. Having read and loved some of her previous books, Riding West is another winner!!!
