An Angel’s Choice

When Micah gets called for his next assignment, the one that would qualify him for his wings, he is excited to get started, but when he learns what he needs to do, Micah knows that it will be the most difficult assignment he has ever had and is determined not to fail the woman needing his help.

Karen hates the Christmas season and all the painful memories it brings with it. This year was worse than any other mainly due to the fact that she was turning thirty-one and her soon to be husband had left her standing at the altar six months before. Now all Karen wants to do is ignore the entire season while hoping that it passes by quickly.

When Micah meets Karen and learns what a beautiful woman she is inside and out, he is furious at the suffering she has endured in her life and is more determined than ever to find someone who will love and cherish her as she deserves. But Micah seems to find fault with every man he finds that appears perfect for her.

Will Micah be able to give Karen the happiness she deserves and earn his wings or will he fail at his assignment?

An Angel’s Choice by Diana Castilleja is a sweet, short story that will warm your heart. Karen’s feelings of bitterness are easy to identify with and understand as you learn of all the hardships in her life. Micah is easy to like as he works hard to give Karen a little of the happiness that usually comes with the holiday season.

I truly enjoyed this tale and feel that even though it is a holiday story; it would still be a great read anytime of the year. With great characterization and easy flow, An Angel’s Choice would make a perfect bedtime read. 4 Angels!
