Bad Blood
After surviving werewolf attacks, Sasha Trudeau and her pack mates were recruited and trained to be an elite group of Special Ops soldiers. The team is close and depends on each other on and off missions, but things start to change when the team is split up and sent on separate missions.
When the mission her pack mates are sent on goes awry, Sasha soon finds herself with a missing pack and learns that everything that she had been told and believed about her childhood was a lie. Now she’s in the middle of a tug of war between the government who may be out to destroy her and the sexy Max Hunter who claims to be a shadow wolf and only wants to help her. Not to mention the full-blooded werewolf Shogun who also claims to want to help her.
Bad Moon is the first book in the Crimson Moon series by L.A. Banks
Werewolves, vampires and just about anything paranormal seem to blend right into this exhilarating story that had me hooked from the first page to the last. The many twists and turns always left me wondering exactly what would happen next, and I was never disappointed.
Sasha is a kick-ass heroine that holds her own and rolls with the punches that always seem to keep coming at her even while her life as she knows it is turned upside down. Hunter is a strong hero that has his soft side despite his troubled childhood, and Shogun’s character left me wanting to know more. I am very eager for the next book in this series and hope that I won’t have to wait long.
If you’re a fan of paranormal suspense stories then this is a book you will not want to miss, and I highly recommend pre-ordering it now.
