Iris is on her way to the All Hellos October Fling Singles Weekend her friend is having when she has a flat tire in the middle of nowhere. Of course, her roommate took the emergency kit out of the car and left Iris with lots of junk that won’t help at all. Iris has never felt comfortable with her looks and right now her costume is definitely not helpful in her present situation, but luck is on her side. Just when Iris sees something malevolent in the distance, a car pulls up with not one, but two of the most gorgeous men she has ever seen, Adrian and Gabriel. As luck would have it, they are also going to the party and agree to take her with them. Things are not quite what they seem, Gabriel and Adrian have been searching for Iris for as of yet unknown reasons. They seem to understand about the evil that was stalking Iris and they are determined to protect her, if a little something else comes their way well so much the better. Things heat up when Iris realizes that Gabriel and Adrian have more in mind setting for an erotic encounter that almost blows them all away. How can Adrian and Gabriel talk to each other without Iris hearing them and what is this power that they are hiding from her? Who are they and does this bode good or bad for Iris?

Mr. Barnette has created a fast paced story with paranormal characters who enliven it, adding their own unique flair to an already jam-packed plot. There is more to Iris than meets the eye and she has no idea what is in store for her. Adrian and Gabriel are more than just knights in shinning armor, but how will Iris respond to their true identities. The erotic scenes between Iris, Adrian and Gabriel are surprisingly beautiful in both their descriptiveness and how each of them finds completion with the other two. Together they create a love that is both poignant and very hot. I hope that there will be further stories about these memorable three. Thanks go to Mr. Barnette for another incredible story.
