His Song

His Song by J.M. Snyder is a homoerotic contemporary romance.

Krish loves his boyfriend Dane so much that he is presently at a snooty, smoke filled coffeehouse waiting to hear Dane’s favorite singer, Randy Blake. Krish is your average guy who likes beer and football, but he will do anything for Dane, even though he does complain. Krish sees Randy as an old washed out singer, definitely not how Dane sees him. To this day, Krish just wants Dane to be happy and that includes encouraging him in his music. Dane writes music that Krish loves, but Dane is too shy to play his music for anyone else. Krish knows that Dane wants only him, but Dane is clueless when other people come on to him that he seems almost child-like in the way he looks at the world. What happens when Dane finally meets his idol and is reality everything that Dane could want?

Ms. Snyder has created a book that takes a realistic look at some of today’s music industry. Krish is a very strong man who wants only to help his lover do what he wants the most in the world, play his music for the world. Dane is a very shy man who writes and plays his music, but he only feels comfortable playing for his lover Krish. Krish is always there to pick up the pieces when things don’t go the way Dane wants, but that doesn’t stop Dane from trying again. The love and commitment between Krish and Dane is beautiful to watch. They are completely different from each other, but the difference is what keeps their love fresh and new. I hope that there will be further stories about the lives of Krish and Dane.
