Lockdown by Auguata Li and Eon de Beaumont is a short homoerotic superhero story with a twist.

Invinci-boy, aka Brian, is determined to do what everyone said is impossible, Taro Miyake, his father’s arch enemy. Brian just finished a job in North Korea when the call came through about the reactor instability in Japan. Now he is locked in battle with Taro, who has up to this time been invincible by Brain’s father, Mr. Invincible. Born from a very human, but very intelligent mother and immortal father, Taro has proven his abilities to create chaos and mayhem in his wake. They prove to both be forces to recon with, but their struggle sets off an emergency within the reactor locking them within the facility to contain the potential reactor breach. This situation releases within Brian constraints set by average society, allowing him and Taro to look at each other with unclouded and new eyes. What will happen between Taro and Brian and will the situation change them forever?

Ms. Li and Eon de Beaumont have created a unique short story with two very strong characters placed in a situation that allows them to explore unknown aspects of their personalities. Invinci-boy has always lived in his fathers shadow, but maybe this time he can allow himself to open up to new possibilities. Taro is seen as the flamboyant and evil character, but beneath this could be someone with the same needs and desires as all men. Together they may learn that love and desire can open you up to new possibilities and situations. I hope their will be others stories about the lives of Brian and Taro.
