She Wolf by Teresa D’Amario is an erotic paranormal romance.

Anne had to go outside for a little peace and quiet. She can’t understand it, but she seems to see the world around her much sharper than anyone else. The noise, the smoke, and all the emotions almost overwhelm her. Unfortunately, Anna runs into two very strange and animalistic men who are determined to kidnap her. Luckily, a very strong man, Kieran, comes to her aid, but the dangerous and bizarre situation overwhelms her. Anna learns from Kieran that what she saw wasn’t in her head and that wolven really do exist, this is almost beyond belief. The craziest thing is that she herself is part wolf. At first, Anna refuses to listen, but she begins to think about her abilities and her unusual response to Kieran himself. The thing she learns is that she herself is in heat, Anna was always told that she couldn’t have children, her deepest desire. The most overwhelming thing is the way Anna feels around Kieran, an overwhelming mixture of lust and longing which is equally returned by Kieran. Will Anna and Kieran come to grips with their feelings before tragedy strikes?

Ms. D’Amario has fashioned a very creative and realistic story with very compelling characters. Anna believes herself to be an average woman, but it takes Kieran to bring out her true self, a woman who needs a very strong man at her side. Kieran is such a man if Anna can bring him to believe in himself. Together they learn that anything worth having is worth fighting for, and their wolf sides revel in the fight and strength in each of them. I loved how Anna’s friends stood by her side and protected her as well as any pack would protect their leader. It is my hope that Ms. D’Amario will write more stories about these very interesting characters.
