Cattle Valley: Sweet Topping by Carol Lynne is the third book in the Cattle Valley series.

Kyle has always been more than just interested in Gill, but what would a awesomely handsome ex-football player want with a man in a wheel chair. Ever since Kyle moved to Cattle Valley, he has made a place for himself as a baker, and that will have to be enough for him. Gill has other ideas during a Christmas party when he approached Kyle and seemed to have no problem touching Kyle. Most people avoid looking anywhere but his face; something that doesn’t seem to bother Gill. Gill gives Kyle a kiss that neither would ever forget, and it had enough punch to it to level even a man as big a Gill. Kyle runs away until Gill corners him and makes him admit his fears about starting a relationship. Things come to a head when Kyle’s bakery is almost broken into and all of Gill’s protective instincts come out. At the same time, Kyle’s family is pushing him to return home and undergo therapy in the hopes of possibly walking again. Will Kyle and Gill have time to explore their budding feelings or will circumstances separate them forever?

Ms. Lynne has continued her creative and inspiring series Cattle Valley. Kyle has many restrictions, but the biggest one is his feelings of insecurity about his physical limitations. Gill found what he always wanted in Kyle, and he will do anything, including learning about Kyle’s limitations to prove his love is more than superficial. Together Kyle and Gill build a love that is strong enough to overcome any obstacle placed in their way. I look forward o the next installment of the Cattle Valley series.
