Bard’s Tale: Midsummer’s Night

Every year, during the Midsummer’s Night eve, Mother Nature chooses a pair from her children and brings them together. This is her way of ensuring another year of luck for the shifters.

Tiana is a Shamaness. It is her turn this year to have some fun. As she goes in search of the one that was chosen as her mate she comes across three problems. The first problem is Maelwys: tall, built like a force of nature, clean cut, blue-eyed and a deer shifter. The second problem is Puck who has green eyes, a hint of erotic mischief, intriguing and an owl shifter. The third and last problem is Oberon; he has dark eyes, rugged features, built for strength and power and is a wolf shifter. Tiana can’t decide with one to take so she does the only thing she can think of….chooses all three!

I was not really sure what to expect from this book at first but after reading it I concluded that Bard’s Tale: Midsummer’s Night is a really good book. The whole aspect of having a foursome was done in good taste and there were some funny parts that had me laughing. Lia Connor has made me a fan of her books. I cannot wait to read more of them. I liked the fact that each character in the book could hold their own. I also liked that each character was unique and a joy to read.
