A Month From Miami by Barbara Meyers is a sweet love story where two people discover what they have been looking for in a most unlikely situation. Ms. Meyers has a gift for characterization, especially in her depiction of Kaylee. I, for one, will never think of chewing gum the same way again. Kaylee’s quirky habits brings a smile to my face as I remember the time I spent getting to know her. The author pulls at your heartstrings with the relationship that develops not only between the hero and heroine, but with Rick’s daughter as well. A Month From Miami is truly a treasure; an entertaining, heart-warming , engaging read. My only disappointment was reaching the end. I will be on the lookout for more titles by this talented author.
