Loved this story!!! Carte Blanche is the first book I’ve read by Kallysten and I really, really enjoyed it. Carte Blanche is part of the Special Enforcers series but stands alone just fine. Kallysten has written a tale of murder, mayhem, and intrigue that grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go until you submit. Her characters are fully fleshed and I quickly fell in love with Grace and Ray. Grace is one kick ass woman; she has just recently come into her own again after years of suppressing her true nature. It was a delight to watch her transform into her persona of Mistress Red. Ray was sexy, submissive, and a vampire, observing his interactions with Grace and his Master offered us an intriguing glimpse into his psyche. The sensual scenes were hot and best of all were interwoven smoothly into the plotline and added that bit of extra spice to an already awesome story. I highly recommend Carte Blanche.
