In the hills of the Nordic lands, Gararic was a warrior, the son of a Warrior King. When he believes his father is slain by the witch they call Dianaria, he vows revenge. He journeys to find and take the life of a woman he believes stole his father’s life for a price. She appears to him, taunting him with her words and beauty. He follows until he reaches the mountain cave she calls her home.

Dianaria knows Garaic intends to destroy her, but first he must understand the truth of his father’s death. He has a great destiny, and she desires to help him fill it. He is all that stands between his people and the true betrayer. The moment they meet, deep emotions rise along with the flames of unexpected passion. Would their first night of pleasure become the last?

Well crafted, this story pulls the reader in right from the start. The setting is described in lyric detail. The thoughts and feelings of the characters bring them to vibrant life, and we are able to share their pleasure and pain. Each vision is painted in a way that enables us to see them clearly in our minds. The various aspects of Viking culture that K. A. M' Lady includes are a strong contrast to the mystical aspects of Dianaria and her magic. A pleasingly hot love scene adds to the story, and the dramatic pacing that makes this a highly enjoyable read.
