The Craving
Jackson Rutledge is surprised when Sabrina Osterling once again sends an email needing his help, which probably means he is not going to like what adventure she wants to involve him in. No sooner than replying to her email, he regrets his action. As good friends, and paranormal investigators, one day he knows he will admit his deep love for her. Sabrina is thrilled to see Jackson again. Insisting they go to her hotel room, he is surprised when she informs she wants him to make love to her. He doesn’t know this Sabrina and fears she is headed for a breakdown. She goes to shower which gives Jackson time to leave the room. He sees Sabrina sitting in the lobby waiting for him and has no idea what is going on, as he explains the ordeal to her. Strange things are happening, and Sabrina intends on finding out who is impersonating her. Jackson believes someone infiltrated his emails. They begin working on some beliefs of
mythology and shapeshifters and realize something horrible has gone awry. It isn’t the first time they have experienced any strange happenings in their lives. While searching for answers, they find themselves up against a terrible horror as they find themselves quickly running out of time to stop any danger.
The Craving is a mind blowing story. I found it engaging and couldn’t stop reading this page-turner. I read about Jackson and Sabrina in Nobody Told the Wind, and immediately fell in love with them and still feel the same. I love the lingering chemistry that works well for them. They have unspoken feelings that draw more upon the storyline as they work vigorously to find answers. T.K. Sheils fashions two fascinating characters that I really enjoyed watching working on an investigation together. He always knew how to weave thrilling stories that entertained and intrigued, and this one is just another great masterpiece of his excellent work. This intense story has some great moments that really grab the reader.
