Every Night I知 Yours is not your average Regency romance! Avis Copley is a wannabe novelist who isn稚 at all interested in acquiring a husband or conforming to social protocol. She thinks she will be a proud spinster, involved in writing and little else. When she discoveries a volume of erotic fiction she realizes she has no romantic experiences to draw from for her writing, at least none of the personal, physical sort. So Avis decides to learn about the erotic aspects of life for herself. She picks Emory Billingsworth to teach her the pleasures of the flesh, but Banning Talbot, an earl Avis has known for some time, tells her she痴 made a poor choice and volunteers his own services. Things for the dedicated twenty-six year old spinster take a more romantic twist. Heat ignites between Banning and Avis, and the warmth promises to glow for more than just one night.

I loved this story! Avis is a perfect example of a woman ahead of her time. She is a writer, dedicated to her craft and willing to do whatever it takes to do research for her work. Avis is a realistic character, someone who made me laugh at her candor and feel her deepest emotions. She gets caught in compromising positions, blurts out indelicate thoughts and, generally, is as imperfect as any ordinary human. It is her ordinariness, coupled with her forward thinking, that make her such a great heroine. The way Banning introduces Avis to the joys of sex is erotic and heartwarming all at once. I loved Banning for so many reasons, but his compassion and tenderness were overwhelming. This is one Regency romance I will read again. Christie Kelley has garnered a new fan in this reviewer. I cannot wait to read more from her! Every Night I知 Yours is a keeper!
