Mina Windwalker discovers a few truths about her fiancé Chaska Dark Wolf that deeply wound her. What’s worse is that Mina will be made to marry Chaska to honor an agreement between their fathers, regardless of the shame his actions may bring to her doorstep.
Tukoda Dark Wolf is Chaska’s younger brother. When Tukoda learns that Mina knows of his brother’s indiscretions and wants no part of marrying him, he comes up with a solution to help rid Mina of a man she doesn’t want while aiding himself in gaining his heart’s desire.

Charlotte Boyett-Compo delivers a wonderful love story in Autumn Wind. Mina is headstrong and determined. She knows that she will settle if she allows herself to be married off to Chaska. Tukoda is handsome and strong of body, mind and character. The fact that Tukoda loves Mina with his entire soul is apparent in how he treats her, and it’s heartwarming to see love of that nature. The characters and plot are strong and the story flows effortlessly from the first word to the last period. Mrs. Boyett-Compo gives us just a touch of sensual love making, a bit of humor, and an ending where those deserving get their just rewards. Autumn Wind is a story that should not be missed.
