Summer Wind
Barbara Lynn Allan is your average everyday working girl in search of a bit of adventure and excitement. A friend points Barbara in the direction of Mistral Cay. The island is designed to allow a woman’s carnal fantasies to be brought to reality and inhibitions have to be left at the port.
Summer Wind is about a woman’s creative sexual nature and what happens when fantasies become unleashed. The book reads like a page to page diary of the best sexual adventures, each just as, if not juicer, than its predecessor. But beyond that, you get a glimpse into a budding new relationship. Barbara reminds me of a nine to five girl who just gets fed up with reading the novel and wants to be part of it. She knows there is more to life than pushing papers, and finds the guts to jump out on a limb and seek out fulfillment. I love how she was able to see the gift that was presented to her, and didn’t look at the venue that it came from but at the soul that offered it. Charlotte Boyett-Compo is an author’s name that is synonymous to passion and action in my book. She always delivers stories that will intrigue and leave you wanting for more. Those who love the genre and fans alike will find it hard to put Summer Wind down.
