Fallen Angels: Son of the Morning

Fallen Angels: Son of the Morning by Auburnimp is the fourth book in the Fallen Angels series.

Millennium ago, Lucifer left Heaven to rule over all things on Earth, and he has taken this position very seriously. Unfortunately, there are drastic changes occurring in Heaven that are threatening stability on Earth. Another angel, Raphael, decided to leave Heaven, and when threatened with death, Lucifer with Samuel’s, the Angel of Death, help rescued him. But the question still remains why this is happening? Lucifer is out walking and runs into Andriel, a lower level angel, but he looks into his eyes and for a strange reason he remembers a past human lover of his Troilus, a lover who was killed. Why does Lucifer remember Troilus now after all this time, and does Andriel know something about the problems between Heaven and Earth?

Auburnimp continues adding pieces to the puzzle about the impending conflict, but will Lucifer put them together in time to prevent people from dying? Lucifer's character is very different than the usual one portrayed in stories. Auburnimp's Lucifer has both good and bad sides like any other individual with needs that are usually hidden from other people. The visual descriptions of Heaven are very beautiful, while the conflict between Heaven and Earth appears the same as a conflict on Earth. As the story unfolds, the reader gets the feeling that the differences between Heaven and Earth aren't as vast as we think and that love is the true motivating factor in all of our lives. I for one will be waiting for the next installment of the Fallen Angels series.
