Mason has had a secret crush on his brother's best friend Jack for years. Ten years to be exact. But Jack is straight and has no idea that Mason has been longing for him. As far as Jack is concerned Mason is the irresponsible, playful, silly kid who will do anything for a laugh.

Ten years of time wasted on a man who will never return his feelings is long enough. Mason decides that the only way to get over Jack is to move away from him and anything that will remind him of Jack, all of which means leaving his family behind.
But a serial killer has set his sights on Mason and nothing will stand in his way. Jack will be forced to come to terms with his own feelings for Mason and try to keep Mason safe from the man out to hurt him. Can the two come to terms with their feelings or will it be too late?

This was an interesting story, a bit choppy in places, but the plot and action made up for the areas where the story seemed a bit abrupt. The characters were well constructed and the sensual scenes were well written. The serial killer was certainly creepy and I got a chill every time he made an appearance. I liked both Mason and Jack, even though I wanted to yell at them for their obliviousness and stubbornness at times. I liked the secondary characters and hope to be able to delve a bit deeper into their lives in future books by Stormy Glenn.
