Another Dream
Marty, a carpenter, has the hots for his new neighbour Larry, but Larry is incredibly shy and can barely get two words out whenever they meet. Determined to break through his shell, Marty invites Larry to go out dancing with his friends. Marty is a fun, optimistic guy even though he's been estranged from his family for many years, ever since his father kicked him out for being gay. He finds solace in occasional hook-ups and with his favourite books about gay vampires Hektor and Rhys.

Larry is the author of the vampire books Marty admires. Though he writes erotica, he has a secret - he's a virgin. Dazzled by Marty, he gets swept away by his first taste of physical pleasure. Marty is gentle with him and hopes to make him feel secure and confident. In return, Larry encourages Marty to make contact with his family. Both men need to trust themselves and each other to get their happy ending.

Aww! I really enjoyed Another Dream - it's a lovely domestic slice-of-life story with two very endearing personalities. I loved the way Larry relates to the world around him through his characters. When he's with Marty, he thinks what would Hektor or Rhys do, and acts accordingly. As he begins to fall in love, he loses the filter of his characters and starts to experience things for himself. Addison Albright has done a wonderful job portraying how a very shy man can open up and gain confidence with some patience and loving care from a partner. Another Dream is a tender feel-good romance that will give you the warm fuzzies.
