Sacred Secrets
Celia agrees to be sold as a BSDM slave for thirty days in order to get the inside story on the auction. The plan is to write a firsthand expose for Inappropriate Voices, a fetish magazine. But plans change... She's bought by Garrett Lawrence, the city's most eligible gay bachelor and major player in the scene. Garrett is still trying to get over the loss of his last lover, but it's hard when the person responsible for killing him is still stalking Garrett. When Celia is found out, the killer sets his sights on her.

Ms Harte weaves a tale of sex, lies, BDSM, murder, and believe it or not love. Celia seems something of a lost soul, yet she hides it behind this strong woman exterior. As I read I realized she was more though. She was steel wrapped in velvet. Celia has dark secrets that Garrett, as her Master, brings to the surface. She was a woman I could relate to and felt for. Ms Harte made me feel as if Celia was a real person not a character in a book. While I felt strongly for Celia, Garrett left me confused, and I feel the reason for this is he was confused. Throughout the book Celia made him feel things he thought were dead in doing so she seemed to leave Garrett unsure of himself. Ms. Harte writes wonderfully, drawing you into a world of dark sensuality and giving you tastes of suspense just at the right times to pull you deeper into the story.
