Bridget’s Rainbow
Bridget O’Halloran cannot throw away any more chances at love. She must not wait long, or the magic rainbow will vanish like last time. If she wishes for a man to love, she will have to jump while the iron is hot. As she leans over to look into the lake and make a wish, she begins falling headlong into the waters. Duncan Garvey found Ireland to be everything his cousin had promised. He is trying to get over a rough ordeal. Taking a bullet in the leg and almost losing it hadn’t been fun nor had having a faithless woman who didn’t want to stick around if he lost the leg. While Duncan is admiring the magic land, he overhears a woman’s scream. He follows the path of the scream and pulls her to safety. The moment he sees her fragile looks and hears her sharp tongue, he is mesmerized. The instant Bridget gazes into the face of Duncan, she is absolutely certain he is the one fated to be her mate. It doesn’t take her long to learn Duncan is a stubborn man. Duncan needs someone to love him for who he is, not the man he was before the accident. When ghost, leprechauns, and an ex-girlfriend enter the picture, not to mention Bridget’s demanding brother, can the two ever find out if they are meant to be together?

I love the magical land of Bridget’s Rainbow. There is always some mischief befalling many in the area. I found Bridget and Duncan to be refreshing and vibrant. I sympathize with Duncan and all the emotions he releases in this tale. I love the part about bringing the ghost into play with their relationship. The whole delightful story grabbed me immediately and took me on a journey I will not forget. C.H. Admirand brings an entertaining story to life. With some wittiness, delightful ghosts, and leprechauns to weave their wonderful magic spun into the story, there are some breathtaking moments. This book allows the reader to smile, laugh, and even grow a bit irritated with some of the folks along the way. Most of all, it left a feel-good sensation with this reader.
