I loved Scott’s character, secure, handsome, smart, charming, and not willing to settle for less than he deserves. I wish more people would take a page from his book. Preston, on the other hand, had me seeing red quite a few times. There were moments where I didn’t feel he deserved the gift that Scott was granting him, but I’ll admit he made up for it in the end. At Long Last Preston discovered what true love looked and felt like. He discovered who he really was. He discovered what mattered most in life. Moreover, Preston has finally found something worth fighting for and protecting. Shawn Lane has written a thought provoking and entertaining story, and it is definitely a book I plan to revisit in the near future.
