Coyote’s Mate
Anya Korbin first met Del-Rey Delgato aka Coyote Ghost in a bar while trying to secure his help in removing the female coyotes from her father’s lab. They became close during the six years they worked together, but the day that the raid was to happen, Del-Rey broke his promise to her that her father and family would not be hurt.

Even though Anya was heartbroken that she could no longer trust anything that Del-Rey says, the hardest part for her was when the kiss they shared brought the mating heat to both of them even though she wants no part of it. Anya requests a separation from Del-Rey, but after eight months away from his mate, he returns to prove to her that they belong together.

As they work their way through figuring out the heat, Del-Rey realizes that Anya is in danger, and the only way he knows how to protect her is by denouncing her as his Coya, which starts dividing the pack in two.

Coyote’s Mate is the second book in Lora Leigh’s exciting Coyote Breeds series. Anya was an interesting character that started off as a young, innocent girl who was easily swayed, but throughout the story she grows into a strong, passionate woman who stands up for what she wants. Del-Rey was used to always going after what he wanted and thinking of himself and the good of his clan which led to trouble between him and Anya, but as they grew closer he learned to start thinking of her as well.

Coyote’s Mate was very emotional and the tension was high which made for a fascinating read. The characterization was very distinct and well rounded, the plot flowed seamlessly from one chapter to the next and sensuality abounded. I highly recommend this book.
