Jason Lawrence has arrived in the Australian outback for the wedding of his sister to his best friend. As a Gag, he purchases a smart mouth parrot as a wedding present for the pair. Unfortunately for Jason, the parrot proves to be more of a hindrance to him. Arrested for lewd language, he is hauled into the police station by one very sexy police woman.

Merindah Byrnes is sick and tired of being the butt of her work mate’s jokes. So when she arrests Jason Lawrence, she thinks she finally may be able to prove she is just as good as any man. When it all blows up in her face, she is left again humiliated and takes her anger and frustration out on the one responsible Jason.

Alexis Fleming’s sequel to Outback Sizzle is Outback Meltdown. The introduction of the potty mouth parrot means for a lot of laughter in this story. This is such a unique ingredient in Ms. Fleming’s stories. Not only are you turning the page to see what this sexually charged couple are going to get up to next, but also to see what will come out of Percy’s mouth next.

We are once again visited by Chase, Cassie and Maisie who play an important role in the story, but don’t over take the scenes they are in. Once again Ms. Fleming delivers great chemistry between her hero and heroine right from the start of the story and carries that through the story. This is a really entertaining read. Please take note that the language is explicit and the sex scenes red hot.
