Erik is a leopard shifter but he differs from the others of his pack in that he is gay. He knows that he will likely live his life alone. A choice that is especially difficult as shifters are by nature pack animals and like to surround themselves by their own kind. Erik spends as much time with his pack as he can stand but there comes a time when seeing what he can't have becomes too much and he must go. Then Brandon comes into his life and things are suddenly looking up for this lonely shifter.

This was a short little gem that told the story of a gay leopard shifter and how he believes he will be alone for the rest of his life. There wasn't a lot to Embracing the Leopard length-wise but it was packed full of action and romance. The sensual scene was smoking hot and both Brandon and Erik were personable characters that I was quick to feel an emotional connection to. While short in length Embracing the Leopard was anything but short on talent, something that Michelle Houston amply demonstrates here. I hope that there will be some more stories set in the Animal Attraction world.
