My Lupine Lover
Vadim Miroslav is perfectly happy with his position in the pack. He goes out of his way to avoid fights and challenges. But when a gorgeous, sweet, and giving man runs into his office he finds himself willing to protect the man at all costs. It seems that Sasha is his mate and an omega as well. Omegas occupy a unique position in a pack and it varies from pack to pack. When Vadim discovers that Sasha's pack is one that mistreats its omega's and that his alpha is particularly abusive of Sasha he vows to protect him.

But Alpha Valeriya isn't going to let Sasha go that easily, which puts Vadim right where he's always tried to avoid being-in a challenge. One which Vadim wins, and by winning Vadim has now become the new alpha of a reclusive insular pack. Will he be able to convince the pack that he has their best interests at heart? Will he be able to convince Sasha that he is everything Vadim has ever dreamed of in a mate? Or will it all be taken away by one fateful mistake?

Vadim and Sasha are two characters that readers of Stormy Glenn will already know. They were secondary characters that appeared in the second Tri-Omega Mates book. But in My Lupine Lover we are taken into the past when Vadim and Sasha first met and discover the story of their love. I enjoyed the story and thought that the characters were well drawn. I really liked Sasha from Forbidden Desires and thoroughly enjoyed delving deeper under his skin and finding out what made him tick. He and Vadim are both great characters and this was a good story. I had a few minor gripes about some things but not enough to detract from my enjoyment of the story. The love between Vadim and Sasha was hot and tender and left me gasping for more. I love when a fast track love affair has an explanation that allows me to overrule that little bit of traditionalist in me. Sometimes you just want to get straight to the good stuff and this book definitely has the good stuff.
