Heartbreaking and sexy as hell, Bound by the Past is not your ordinary erotic novel. It's not often I read a book that reaches me on so many different levels. Jessie's story took me from laughter to tears and every emotion in between. The characters are so well crafted that I was genuinely invested in this novel and days after reading it, I am still thinking about it. Wade is the cowboy every girl dreams about complete with a warm, loving family. Jessie is no more than a lost girl needing to be loved under that tough as nails exterior. The girl had grit and I really admired her courage in the face of such adversity.

This is my first novel by Mackenzie McKade and it certainly won't be my last. Bound by the Past is definitely a must read!
