Serena is caught up in a trap of lust and possibly betrayal, since it seems that Joel and Trey have some connection to the enemies. However, Serena can't seem to pull away from her ménage and the three of them prepare for the final fight, to rid their world of the dark lord once and for all.

Blazing Pentacle is the third book in the series, and I have to say the best, most action-packed, and most assuredly the most erotic of the other two books. Eden Rivers has really outdone herself on this one.

Serena touched me from the very first page, so scared and yet, so brave to fight for what she believes in, even if it means facing the very thing that terrifies her the most. Her courage is a constant throughout the book. Joel is unique in the fact that he has connections to both sides, good and bad, and his mysterious past points to the fact that he may have come from the bad side. He is a good man with a very soft side, but he is also very powerful and knows how to use his power when push comes to shove. Trey is a human with psychic abilities, and he has a sweet and very humorous side. Throughout everything, Trey used his perceptiveness to know what was going on and his humor to keep everyone light, despite the press of a very dangerous evil pushing down on them. I also have to mention Kiara, a later addition into the threesome. She is an empathic witch and adds so much to this little group of erotic love.

This book is filled with action, since it is the climax of the evil that has been gathering since the first book. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book, and of this series, and could not imagine it being written or ended any better.
