This book contains a collection of charming stories about animals bringing together their owners with new loves or reuniting old loves. Each author has written a new and unique tale of how animals fill in the empty spaces in our lives, provide balance, and may even do a little matchmaking. It is hard for an anthology to have stories that appeal to everyone, but I really liked every story in this one. I honestly don't think I can pick a favorite; each story was delightful and entertaining. I also think part of the charm in this particular anthology is in not knowing what each story will be about! I do have to say the most heart wrenching story is Danny's Dog; you will need Kleenex handy for this one. Most of the stories are short contemporary romances, but if you are familiar with these authors, you will recognize that one or two of the stories will probably have a paranormal angle, one is a probably a historical, and one or two of the stories may be spicy. The authors live up to their reputations! If you are an animal lover, you will also like that a part of the proceeds from the sale of this book are going to The Animal Adoption Foundation, a charitable organization. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to read a collection of fun romances featuring cute, charming, and sometimes devious animals and their owners!
