The Dom Next Door
Sweet and polite is how Nadia Fleming described her best guy friend Alex Johnson. Alex was a professor of Romantic Literature and Poetry, quite a step up from Nadia’s own GED only background. For three years Alex had been her friend and shoulder to cry on when her own personal life wasn’t going so well. Curiosity gets the better of Nadia and she finds herself nosing into a box waiting for Alex and she gets the surprise of her life. Nadia never dreamed that Alex had a secret life that could be what wet dreams are made of. Alex is a Dom, and he intends to show Nadia what she is missing.

Short and definitely not sweet, The Dom Next Door packs a BDSM punch. The intensely erotic story grabs you from the first paragraph. Ms. Summers has packed quite a bit into such a short story; conflict, steamy sex, and emotional uncertainty. The story of friends becoming lovers is one that transcends time, and this story adds a decidedly wicked twist. Nadia has never been able to see past the civil veneer that Alex has put up, except in her private fantasies. When all her perceptions are torn down, her anxiety over the possibilities is tangible. Ms. Summers does a wonderful job of painting a picture in the reader’s mind. I look forward to reading more of her work.
