If you can’t take the heat, then stay out of Devil’s Kitchen. This book set me on fire and completely blindsided me. It was not just scorching hot, but the clever twists in the story took me by surprise. I like to think of myself as a pretty smart cookie, and when an author can catch me off guard like Calista Fox did, I have to hand it to her! I was also completely engrossed in the love affair between Kristina and Roman. I genuinely liked Kristina. She’s tough, smart, confident and yet vulnerable. Roman stole my heart though. I felt the struggle and freedom he experienced when he broke all of his own rules. I will be on the look out for more steamy and intriguing stories from this author in the future.
