Lace, Lust & Liars
Nina Blackington has her first big break as a journalist, and she is prepared to do whatever it takes to get her story. Sent to cover a party at the renowned Hottie Mansion, Meg is amazed at the freedom with which these people indulge in sex. Scantily clad men and women wander about from one partner to the next. It is very different from the upbringing she received as one of the town’s socialites.

When Vince de Marco, one of the journalists from the Hottie Magazine, offers to get her the interview she needs with the magazine owner, she is unaware that she has been set up by her own boss. Vince soon realizes that there is far more to the uptight woman his friend and Nina’s boss described to him. What he finds is a sensual woman who willingly indulges in erotic sex and one that he soon finds hard to give up. So, how will his little sex goddess feel when she finds out his part in the deception?

Jillian Hallowell has written a novel that has twists and turns when you least expect them. The characters are easy to relate to and like from the onset. Nina Blackington is a socialite who wants to be taken seriously in the world of journalism, even if it means stepping out of her comfort zone. Ms Hallowell has delivered a well-rounded novel with romance and action that would interest any reader as long as you are prepared for the erotic side of sex. It’s not smutty or over the top, but the sex is there, so is the building of a relationship between the two main characters and how they come to deal with trust. Lace, Lust & Liars is a great, quick read.
