Master of Torment by Karin Tabke is a fascinating foray into the land of knights and kings. Lady Tarian is a captivating character. She uses her strengths and smarts to do what needs to be done to protect herself. She doesn’t back down from a challenge and is eager to prove herself. Wulfson is use to getting things done and taking down his enemy in a quick and efficient manner but after meeting the intriguing Tarian, he starts wondering if she is really the enemy after all.

If you are a fan of historical romance, there’s no doubt you will fall in love with this story and the characters. If you are like me and not a big fan of anything historical, then I think you will want to give Ms. Tabke’s Master of Torment a chance and be as pleasantly surprised as I was and every bit as in love with the story.
