Naked Richmond by Ally Blue is one of the books in the multiple author series I Heart That City.

Eli Rains is once again at the I Heart That City bar in hopes of catching a glimpse of the man who has caught his attention. Eli has been visiting the bar for weeks just to see him, but he hasn’t gathered the courage to approach him. Fate is about to lend Eli a hand when Eli leaves to continue his deliveries and he pretty much runs over someone after a couple of rude men get in the way of his bike. Eli soon realizes that the man he hit is the mysterious stranger that he has been watching, Tyrone. Eli decides this is his chance and makes his move to help Tyrone, to possibly get to know him better. As they learn more about each other, Eli finds out that there are many things in Tyrone’s life that he isn’t willing to talk about. Tyrone accepts mysterious phone messages and has periods where Eli can’t find him. Is Tyrone involved in something dangerous? Eli fights an inner battle over whether he should trust his lover or protect Tyrone against his wishes.

Ms. Blue created a story that kept me guessing from the very beginning. I love a mystery that remains a big question mark until the very end. The characters of Eli and Tyrone are well rounded and take on a life of their own. The initial meeting between Tyrone and Eli is hysterical and Eli’s thought to not look a gift horse in the mouth is a riot. The growing relationship between both is beautiful to behold and stressful as Eli continuously worries about what Tyrone is doing, whether he is putting himself in danger or not. I for one can’t wait to read the next book in the I Heart That City series. Thanks go to Ms. Blue for a great story.
