It’s in the middle of a blizzard, and the power has gone out. When she can’t find her cat, our heroine gets worried enough to venture out into the weather to make sure her pet is safe. She doesn’t find her cat, but she does find a naked man in her garage. A very cold and very pale naked man with a Y-shaped incision on his chest. The man might be a stranger, but our heroine is afraid he might be suffering from hypothermia, so she brings him inside to warm up. She’ll call an ambulance for him once the phone service has been restored.

The man’s senses have obviously been dulled by the extreme cold. He can’t talk, he can barely walk, and he feels…well…stiff. But when our heroine strips down to share her body heat with him, he unbends enough to play doctor. He might be the strong and silent type, but this strange cold man is more than willing to make the heroine scream. In more ways than one.

Zombie lovers take note, Rhonda Lee has penned an erotic little story that will absolutely tickle you. The Return of the Horny Dead is a highly entertaining read that will have its readers rolling their eyes at the antics of the heroine and wondering what the possible repercussions of her little sexual romp might be. We the reader know from the very beginning that the naked guy in question is a zombie – it says so right there in the title. The heroine, who has no name, remains clueless, even as she tries to “get it on” with a member of the living dead. The reader, however, sits in suspense wondering if her zombie sexual plaything is eventually going to wake up and want “brraaaaaiiiinnnssss”…

I had to laugh when I read this story, and that laughter makes The Return of the Horny Dead more than worth the read. Readers who enjoy Night of the Living Dead and its derivatives should find this story right up their alley.
