Forsaken Talisman
Skylar has no memories of her own, only the ones placed there by the Shadow Walkers' enemy. All she knows is that the memories, and her face, belong to someone else and there is no one she can trust. Shadow Walker Dusty Celments rescues Skylar against orders and brings her into hiding. He needs to find out who she is, and why looks exactly like someone he knows. Together they try to learn the truth, about Skylar, about the enemy, and about love.

Forsaken Talisman is second in the Talisman Bay series, and I couldn't wait to read it. It doesn't disappoint, and it was just as good as the first. Right away we are reminded of the cruelty of Craze, the enemy from the first book, and this one as well. He is an interesting villain, because as horrible as he is, there is still something that draws you in. He is a great match for Dusty and the Shadow Walkers. Dusty is a type of hero that I really enjoy. He isn't too dominating and bossy and he is well matched with Skylar, who is still a fighter after all she's been through. It was nice to catch up on the rest of the series characters, and it makes me want everyone's book right away. I am really looking forward to more from this series, and I have no doubt Ashleigh Raine will keep the great stories coming.
