Circe's Recruits are still battling rogue mutants coming out of Elliot Pearl's Pearson Labs. Elliot is a genius when it comes to experimental science, but his biggest flaw is that he lacks a moral code. Circe's Recruits have captured Sabrina. Derrick Packard believes she's an agent for the Project Protection Agency, and he doesn't trust her even if she's the reason they were able to rescue Kelly. Females are nothing but trouble and sexy but caustic Sabrina is certainly no exception. Derrick knows that he should avoid her, but it's hard to stay away when she occupies his every waking thought.

Unbelievable secrets will be revealed and earth shattering events will happen that change things forever. Will Derrick allow himself to trust enough to save them or will it be too late?

Derrick is by far the most action packed and emotionally driven story of the Circe's Recruits series. Sitting on the edge of my seat, I devoured it in one afternoon. I loved Sabrina and her acerbic wit. The way she interacted with Derrick and the rest of the recruits had me laughing. Marie Harte continues to blow me away with her imagination. I was gasping through the sex scenes and I have really come to love her for the shock factor she so skillfully weaves into the fabric of the story. I am dying to read Hale, the next installment in Ms. Harte's ground breaking series. I highly recommend this series and Derrick is the best story yet!
