Amethyst Moon
Gia Solletii has decided it is time for her to retire from her cat burglary ways, but first she'll pull just one more heist. Her target: a large amethyst belonging to one time jewellery thief Steve 'The Shadow" Bastien. What Gia didn't count on was the power the amethyst would have on her sexual urge for the delicious 'Shadow'.
Steve can't believe Gia would have the nerve to steal from him, let alone demand money for the return of his property. He had a plan of his own, and by the end of the night the devious Gia Solletti would be his, mind, body and soul.
A great quick read. I thoroughly enjoyed the mind games played out by Gia and Steve. Amethyst Moon is a cat and mouse game between the hero and heroine, well written and entertaining. Scott Bastien is a cocky hero sure of himself and his surroundings. What he doesn't count on is an equally cocky heroine, not afraid to take what she wants and what she wants is his amethyst and his body. Being a short story the focus is solely on the main characters. If I had a problem with this story it would be the head hopping, but that's just me and it certainly didn't take away from a good story.
Fiona Jayde has written a well developed story with characters you can't help but like. The fact that they each have their own ghost whispering in their ear only adds to the enjoyment of the story. Well worth a read to fill in a spare hour.
