Having a night out with her girlfriends to celebrate her thirtieth birthday at a sex club seemed like a good idea at the start. If he could just get his business problems sorted and not have Lauren find out about his financial situation life could be great for them both.

Fortune's Chance is the third story in the Fortune series by Karen Erickson. Like the two before it, Ms Erickson portrays her female characters as strong, independent women. Women that have a close bond, not just because they won a lottery jackpot, but because they care about each other. Ms Erickson writes characters you can relate to, characters that show their flaws and are willing to accept them. The chemistry between Lauren and David is electrifying, they sizzle each time they come together and while the sex is well written it is not in your face. This is a great story of love re-found, with a hero that is willing to admit his mistake and go after what he wants, the heroine. It is also the story of friendship, a friendship where sometimes you have to tell in like it is, and these women could be any one of us. Well done Ms Erickson, another entertaining story.
